Beneficial Synergistic Effect of Supplementation with Combined M. oleifera and L. speciosa Leaf Capsules in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes

Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic non-communicable chronic disease in which the body's ability to process glucose impaired, resulting higher blood levels. If not controlled, this can lead severe complications. Various plants with medicinal properties treat diseases, such as diabetes, due therapeutically important phytochemicals and bioactive compounds. This study investigated effect of antidiabetic plant leaves controlling levels among Wakhi diabetic patients Hunza district Pakistan. The "Wakhis" are an ethnic group living remote region method used was placebo-controlled study. Leaf powders Moringa oleifera Lagerstroemia speciosa were filled capsules 1000 mg each. potential estimated by performing biochemical profiles before after trial.
